The Captain

Capt. Herbie Hahn is a fourth generation fisherman from Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island. For over 25 years, he has been successfully catching all varieties of fish in Cold Spring Harbor, the surrounding harbors, and Long Island Sound.

Due to his unique knowledge of the area, Capt. Herb has been able to develop fishing techniques unknown to the less seasoned fisherman in the area.

Striped Bass fishing (early Spring through late fall) is Capt. Herb’s most popular and personal favorite, earning him many trophy fish up to 53 lbs.
